Nope, nothing’s changed — Sia still isn’t showing her face! The powerful singer appeared on ‘The Voice’ on April 7 to sing her hit ‘Elastic Heart,’ and once again covered up with a platinum blonde wig. Click inside to WATCH!

For Sia, 39, singing is about doing what she loves — not fame. The “Chandelier” crooner held her ground in terms of this mantra by continuing to keep her face shielded with a wig while performing on The Voice‘s April 7 episode, letting her music and lyrics do the talking. Watch the video to see the powerful performance!

Sia Covers Face On ‘The Voice’ — ‘Elastic Heart’ Performance

Although Sia actually faced the audience this time (she generally performs with her back to the crowd), she still refused to show anything above her lips, using a bob-cut wig to cover her eyes and nose. So clever! She accessorized with Jennifer Fisher rings.

Of course, this style of performing is nothing new for the 39-year-old Aussie, although this time, she didn’t have her protege, Maddie Ziegler, to entertain the audience with dramatic modern dancing.

Instead, the focus was completely on her, and she managed to keep the crowd engaged with her incredible talent.

Sia: Why She Doesn’t Show Her Face

Sia has received some criticism for declining to show her face to the audience, but hasn’t held back about why she’s chosen to do so.

“I don’t want to be famous or recognizable,” she said during a Nightline interview in June 2014. “I don’t want to be critiqued about the way that I look on the Internet. I’ve been writing pop songs for pop stars now for a couple of years and I’ve become friends with them and see what their life is like and that’s not something I want.”

Although Sia has been on the music scene since the late 1990s, she made a surge to the top of the charts in 2014 thanks to her hit “Chandelier” and its viral video, which featured Maddie, an 11-year-old gifted dancer from the Lifetime series Dance Moms.

Hey, covering her face hasn’t hurt Sia’s career yet — why change it now?
