Bruce’s big sit down interview with ABC’s 20/20 is set to air April 24 and this will be his big farewell to Bruce moment. The former Olympian and reality star will reportedly no longer identify publicly as a man after the two-hour special.
Bruce Jenner is really looking forward to his ABC interview with Diane Sawyer because this will be the beginning of a whole new chapter in his life. The patriarch of the Kardashian/Jenner family is in the process of transitioning from male to female and TMZ claims that during the interview he will “present himself” as a woman for the first time. This is really exciting news for Bruce and we are happy that he will finally be at peace.

Bruce hopes that his interview with ABC will help others transitioning realize that they are not alone. He will reportedly start the special by explaining that he felt like he identified as a woman as early as 5-years-old. The reality star will also discuss what it was like living as a man but not “feeling like one.”
Bruce will reportedly not dress like a woman in the interview or reveal his new name. But he will say “farewell to Bruce” because after this interview he will no longer live his life day-to-day as a man.
The former Olympian will also talk about how little things in his daily life will change now that he is living life as a woman.

The interview will start at 9pm on April 24 on ABC and they are still in the process of filming different parts of the interview.
Just a few days after Variety confirmed the air date of the two-hour special, Bruce was spotted wearing red nail polish and hiking alone on Easter.
