

Team Christina’s soulful singer Kimberly Nichole gave the performance of the night — it was so emotional that she broke down in tears and there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience or at home! Find out exactly what went down during the April 7th episode of The Voice Season 8!
Team Adam’s powerhouse singer Tonya Boyd-Cannon hit the stage first with an eclectic performance of “Take Me to the Pilot.”
The audience was on their feet by the end of the song — she totally rocked! “You’re not afraid and we felt it, that was great,” Blake told her.
Joshua Davis, also from Team Adam, took on the song “Budapest” next. The folky tune really showcased his beautiful voice!
“There is just something about your voice,” Blake said who let Joshua go previously.
Team Christina’s spunky artist Sonic took on the powerful tune “I’m Going Down.” Not only did she sound amazing but she looks super stylish!
Team Adam’s pop singer Brian Johnson took the stage next singing “At This Moment.” Blake told him he was a “perfect vocalist,” after his amazing performance.
Kimberly Nichole from Team Christina sang “What’s Up?” — a song that’s never been approved for the show before!
We have no words for how incredible her performance was — what a voice! All four judges were standing on their feet by the end and Kimberly was moved to tears. What an emotional moment!
Her 91-year-old grandmother was even in the audience to watch her do her thing — so amazing!
Team Christina’s next artist Lexi Davila sang “All By Myself” — she nailed it! “I am so proud of you,” her former coach Adam told her afterwards.
Adams R&B artist Nathan Hermida took on the popular song “Chains.” Everybody loved it — he was a hit!
India Carney took on a song by her coach Christina, “Hurt” and she really made her proud! Another standing ovation from the crowd — wow!
Next up, Christina’s artist Rob Taylor took on the popular song “Earned It” and he had a blast on stage (we also had a blast watching!)
Team Adam’s singer Deanna Johnson sang the old gospel song, “Down to the River to Pray.” The judges were so blown away as were we!
