A year ago today, Peaches Geldof was tragically found dead at her home in Wrotham. Her death is still a fresh wound in her family’s heart and Peaches eldest sister, Fifi, took to social media to post a throwback photo of the pair in remembrance. So sad.
It’s a difficult time for Fifi Geldof, 31, and the rest of her family. Today, April 7, is the one year anniversary of Peaches Geldof‘s untimely death. She passed away at the age of 25, following an overdose from heroin in 2014. Very heartbreaking.
Peaches Geldof: Sister Fifi Remembers Her On The Anniversary Of Death
Fifi has taken to social media to post a touching throwback image of her with her little sister Peaches on the one year anniversary of her death.
In the photo, the two sisters look adorable in their matching dresses and young Peaches is seen smiling big with a white bow in her hair. She wrote a short but extremely emotional caption, “A year ago today and I miss you with all of my being.”
Fifi also posted the same school photo on what would have been her sister’s 26th birthday on March 13th with the caption, “Thinking of her on her 26th birthday. Love you, wherever you are.” So heartbreaking.
Peaches Left Behind Two You Children
Peaches untimely death left behind her husband Thomas Cohen and their two young children Astala and Phaedra.
At the time of Peaches’ death, her young son Phaedra, was found next to his mother’s lifeless body. Which makes it even harder on the family, because Peaches’ own mother Paula Yates died from a drug overdose and was found with daughter Tiger Lily, then just four, at her side. Sadly, it’s a case of history repeating itself.
Police confirmed that the investigation into the death of Peaches is still ongoing, with the search continuing for the drug dealer who supplied her with the fatal dose of the drugs, according to Metro.
Our thoughts are with friends and family of Peaches at this time.
