Mon, April 6, 2015 10:01am EDT by 16 Comments

While she may have faced a backlash for her blackface photoshoot, Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Tyga, doesn’t want to see her slammed  — and wants her to be more sensitive, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned.

Wow! Kylie Jenner, 17, blew up the internet like her sister, but for the wrong reasons after a photoshoot of her wearing blackface caused a major controversy. But, her boyfriend, Tyga, 25, doesn’t want to see her getting so much flack for it and instead, he would rather she know to be more sensitive than immature and irresponsible. Ouch.

Kylie Jenner: Tyga Defends Her After Blackface Controversy

“Tyga thinks Kylie looks beautiful in any light,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. But, at the same time, he doesn’t want her being bashed by people and wishes she should think twice before posting anything on social media that might be remotely offensive.”

“Tyga knows her heart and knows she meant no harm by posting that beautiful picture of herself. He even thinks she is showing how strong she is by not removing it. He hopes she’ll look as this as a learning experience.”

And, according to a second source, Tyga feels like Kylie has gone too far and has only shown her immaturity, once again, and need for attention. Yikes.

“Tyga feels like Kylie has crossed the line with this new shoot, and really and truly shown her age,” another source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “If she was older, wiser and more mature she would never have done something that could be interpreted in a racist way. He obviously doesn’t believe she’s racist, and understands it was art. But, it was insensitive and a little hard to justify. Tyga feels it just shows her immaturity and constant need for attention. He’s not mad angry about it, just thinks she hasn’t thought about what she was doing.”

Kylie & Tyga: He Thinks She Responds To Criticism Well

As we previously reported, the pair got into a mini-fight in which Tyga called her “immature,” however he was still really impressed by how she handled it.

“[Tyga] likes everything about [Kylie], including how she responds well to criticism. Even though he told her she was immature, it was coming from a genuine place,”an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He wasn’t trying to flat out disrespect her, he was telling her about her behavior in hopes she’d learn from it.”

What d’you think HollywoodLifers? Does Kylie need to grow up and be more respectful? Do you think it’s good Tyga is standing by her side throughout this controversy? Comment below!
