Sadly, Mad Men is coming to an end. The critically-acclaimed show’s final 7 episodes air April 5, and everyone is dying to find out the fate of our favorite characters. Will Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) get her happy ending? What is Don’s (Jon Hamm) destiny? HollywoodLife.com spoke EXCLUSIVELY to EP Scott Hornbacher, who teased what’s next for the Mad Men crew!

‘Mad Men’ Spoilers: EP On Don & Peggy In Season 7

Peggy’s been our main girl on Mad Men since the very beginning. The evolution of her character has been astounding. It’s hard to imagine life without Peggy on the small screen. When asked about what’s coming for Peggy, Scott teased that Peggy’s been on the right path all along.

“You know, my feeling about the show is that the characters have come back to their true selves, and the only thing I’ll say is that, as far as I’m concerned, that holds true for all of them,” Scott told HollywoodLife.com.

So, where does that leave Don? Our troubled, enigmatic protagonist has been on his own journey, and finding out Don’s legacy is going to be epic and totally worth the wait.

“I feel the way that the series wraps up is a befitting look into Don’s story and honors the show and the characters remain true to who they are!” Scott continued.

HollywoodLife.com asked Jon Hamm himself at the show’s NYC premiere if he thinks Don will find his true happiness by series end, and his response is perfect. “I hope so! I have been rooting for that for a long time, so I hope so!” he told us.

The final seven episodes of Mad Men air April 5 at 10/9c on AMC.

HollywoodLifers, what are you predictions for Mad Men’s final season? Will Don find happiness? What will happen to Peggy? Let us know!
