If you’re on the hunt for a new spring hairstyle then look no more! Elizabeth Banks’ double bun at the ‘Resident Advisors’ premiere in Los Angeles is the perfect way to switch up your look. Get the deets below.
Elizabeth Banks, 41, looked so pretty posing on the red carpet on March 31 with her fun updo and her fresh faced makeup. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay star isn’t just beautiful on the outside, she’s beautiful on the inside. She told us EXCLUSIVELY how she lives her life “out loud”! Read our interview here.
Elizabeth Banks’ ‘Resident Advisors’ Premiere Hair — How To
Much like her Hunger Games character, Elizabeth loves experimenting with new, fun hairstyles! We are fangirling over her cute double bun and it’s so simple to recreate. Why didn’t we think of this first?!
Celeb hairstylist Adir Abergel styled Elizabeth’s hair in a deep side part with the front section of her hair slightly curled to make a soft, flattering side bang. The rest of her hair was smoothed back and divided to make two cute donut buns!
When trying this look on your own, it helps to curl hair loosely before forming the buns, and don’t forget to make your style will last with a touchable hold hairspray like Bumble And Bumble Does It All Styling Spray.
If you’re not great at making donut buns, don’t worry! You can always get a little help from Sarah Potempa’s The Wrap Up.
Elizabeth Banks: Acknowledge People Who Are ‘Living Out Loud’
We also love Elizabeth’s fresh faced makeup with her peachy lipstick and a glowing complexion! As great as she looks we’re sure she receives plenty of compliments, but she actually prefers to give them!
She spoke to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY at the American Greetings launch event for their Thank List campaign on March 24 in NYC and told us:
“I think it’s really fun to acknowledge anybody, and I really mean anybody, who is living out loud. And by that I mean, you’re walking by some lady on the street who is just dressed super nice you say, ‘I really like your dress!’ It helps, it makes people feel amazing. And it makes you feel amazing!
When someone, when the barista at the coffee shop is particularly nice, be like, ‘You really just made my day right now.’ It’s as little as being connected to other people, looking people in the eye, and finding something nice to say is as easy as compliments. I really think compliments are a great way to make your whole day better.”
Well, Elizabeth, you look awesome and you sound awesome! What do you think of her look, HollywoodLifers?
