Poor Rob Kardashian. He must be incredibly depressed to be living a kind of non-life for so many months. He clearly, desperately needs help. So no matter how much he may push you away, Kardashian/Jenner family — do not stop trying to ‘save’ him. You are his only hope.
Robert Kardashian is a shell of his former self, according to multiple reports and our own sources at HollywoodLife.com.
Rob Kardashian’s Depression — His Family Needs To Help
“Rob has become progressively more and more anti-social, refusing to see anyone — sometimes staying in his room for days and days. It’s frightening,” a source close to the Kardashian family told HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
Khloe, 30, finally admitted publicly that Rob was experiencing problems when she hosted a party in Las Vegas on March 21. “Rob has become very introverted and has a kind of social anxiety. He’s certainly not at his happiest place that he once was,” she told Wonderwall.
Khloe’s words appear to be an understatement. Rob, who used to be a regular on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, is not appearing on the new season of the show and was rarely seen last season. He has also moved out of Khloe’s safe haven of a home and is living in a low-budget hotel in downtown LA, according to Star magazine.
“Rob is in a very dark place right now. It’s never been this bad before,” an insider told the magazine. “He seriously needs help but refuses to admit it, and no one knows what to do about him anymore. He just won’t talk to anyone.”
Rob Kardashian — Refuses Intervention Suggested By Kris Jenner
He may not talk to anyone in the family, except perhaps for Khloe, but he certainly managed to lash out at sister Kim in an Instagram on March 22, when he posted a photo of bloody murderer Amy Dunne, the blonde central character in the film Gone Girl, and captioned it “my sister Kim, the bitch from Gone Girl.”
“He’s sad, he’s bitter, he’s single. He is very depressed and he has been [for a while],” a source confirmed to People. “He is very against therapy and any kind of rehab.”
We can see how frustrating that must be to mom Kris Jenner, stepdad Bruce Jenner and all his worried siblings. They’ve already tried to convince him to get help and now on a new clip from the upcoming April 5 episode of KUWTK, Kris, 59, tells Khloe that she wants to stage an intervention to get Rob, 28, to accept help.
Sadly, it doesn’t appear that Kris’ efforts worked, since a source tells HollywoodLife.com that “Rob is in very, very bad shape…he feels like crap about himself and gets so angry and jealous about his sisters’ success and popularity.”
But Kris, Bruce, Khloe, Kim, 34, and his other siblings you, must not give up trying to help him. Unfortunately when people are as severely depressed, as Rob appears to be, they just don’t think logically. They often are not capable of acting in their own best interests. The depression clouds their judgment and also demotivates them.
Kardashian/Jenner Family: Don’t Abandon Rob — Throw Him A Lifeline
Rob’s nasty Instagram about Kim was actually a cry for help. “He’s trying to get some attention and it’s a cry for mommy too,” celebrity relationship expert, Dr. Gilde Carle, of drgilda.com told HollywoodLife.com. She urges Rob to get help and his family to keep trying to get him to accept the professional counseling that he needs.
We agree. Kardashians and Jenners: don’t give up on Rob. He needs you more than ever, even though he’s trying to push you away. You are his lifeboat. And you can’t give up on the hope that if you keep throwing him a lifeline, he might finally grab it and hold on while you pull him to safety.
Love is a powerful medicine. So don’t let his rejection get to you. Your love can eventually convince him to start the process of saving himself.
Do you agree, HollywoodLifers — should the Kardashian/Jenners never give up on trying to help Rob? Let me know.
