Lily Collins showed off her short haircut at the Chanel party in New York City on March 31, and we’re loving her playful ‘do! Lily’s tousled locks and neutral makeup are ideal for spring — you can get a similar look below!
Lily Collins, 26, is a huge fan of Chanel, and she put her best dressed foot forward for the brand’s Paris-Salzburg 2014/15 Metiers d’Art Collection in New York City on March 31. What we’re really drooling over, though, is her gorgeous, understated hair and makeup. We’ve got all the tips you need to achieve Lily’s sunkissed look!
Lily Collins’ Chanel Party Hair & Makeup — Get Her Beauty Look
Before the party, Lily’s friend and fashion It Girl Alexa Chung, 31, posted a snap of Lily on Instagram with the caption “#chanel”. Though Lily ended up changing her outfit from that photo for the party, her adorable pixie cut stayed present!
Lily made the chop back in February, and we’re still not over how cute it is. The cut brings out Lily’s delicate features and shows off her amazing brows. If you ever decide to get a pixie cut, we definitely recommend showing your stylist a photo of Lily to get her sexy, undone layers!
To achieve Lily’s textured look, treat your hair to a luxurious spray like Oscar Blandi’s ‘Pronto’ Texture & Volume Spray. Spray your locks with this lightweight product to create effortless volume and texture. Plus, this spray smells like citrus — yum! Finally, comb your fingers through your locks to get that just-rolled-out-of-bed-but-I-still-tried look.
Lily Collins’ Makeup At Chanel Party — Get The Look
As for Lily’s makeup, it’s fair to say that you can get her gorgeous, bronzed look with some of Chanel’s top-notch beauty products.
We love the Chanel Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow palette in 33 Prelude — this is the ONLY neutral palette you will ever need!
You can mix and match your ideal shades from this quad to go as dark or light as you prefer. As for Lily’s look, her shadow was on the lighter side, so we’d suggest sticking to the peachier shades from this palette for that more natural vibe.
Follow up with your favorite liquid eyeliner and mascara, and don’t forget to contour: we like the Tarte Park Avenue Princess Contour Palette! The 3-in-1 palette includes a waterproof bronzer, 12-hour blush and highlighter. (The Chanel party was held at the Park Avenue Armory — so this palette is basically perfect.)
