It was a beautiful way to remember everyone’s favorite Tejano singer, Selena, and Adrienne definitely touched our hearts with this incredible performance.

As Adrienne took the stage to sing Selena’s 1995 hit, “I Could Fall In Love,” as a tearful audience watched in awe. Even Selena’s sister, Suzette, sang along and smiled during Adrienne’s powerful tribute.

Believe it or not, the performance marked the 20th anniversary of Selena’s tragic death on March 31, 1995. As Suzette recalled the horrific day her sister was shot to death by her own employee, she shared that had Selena lived she would still be performing beautiful music for the world. So sad.

Selena’s Sister Suzette Grateful To Jennifer Lopez

During her sit-down interview with Adrienne and the rest of the cast of The Real, Suzette of course was asked about the 1997 film in which Jennifer Lopez portrayed Selena in the self-titled biopic.

“Props to everybody that was part of making the movie. Of course Jennifer studied so hard to try to get it as perfect as possible. It’s such a hard job to do to have to mimic somebody and to have to learn how to act and be that person,” Suzette shared, expressing her gratitude for the film and Jennifer’s hard work.

As for her sister, Suzette wanted everyone to know that she was “so humble, and so down to earth and she would really do anything for anybody if she possibly could.”

Thankfully for Suzette and the rest of Selena’s family, she will never be forgotten.
