If Taylor hasn’t already solidified her position as the new Queen of pop, she’s definitely on her way now! The 25-year-old made a surprise appearance during Madonna’s iHeartRadio Music Awards performance on March 29, and HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that this may not be the last collaboration between the A-list duo!
It looks like Taylor Swift, 25, is big enough to collaborate with just about anyone these days! It’s already been reported that she’ll be getting into the studio with former nemesis, Kanye West, 37, and now, after a surprise team-up at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 29, the “Shake It Off” singer may also be making sweet music with Madonna, 56, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned. Find out the plan for the pop stars’ collaboration!
Madonna & Taylor Swift: New Music & Duet On The Way?
While currently planning her 1989 tour, Taylor is still riding high from the success of her 2014 album of the same name, but she let her music take a back seat to accompany Madge onstage at the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards. Instead, the 25-year-old showed off her skills on the guitar, playing as Madonna belted out her ballad “Ghosttown.”
And it seems the ladies had quite a good experience putting the performance together, because they may be working with one another again in the future!
“It would be a while from now, but it is certainly an option. The offer is definitely on the table! Madonna wants to make as many splashes as possible in support of her new album, and what better way to do that than by being involved with the biggest star on the planet?” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“That being said, don’t expect anything to happen just yet. “The reality of it all is that it was a fun moment, and for the time being, it will be just that — a moment. Knowing their schedules are constantly busy, it would be very far away before anything took place regarding them recording together,” the source adds.
But at least there’s hope!
Of course, the blonde beauty already has a lot to be excited about when it comes to her career! Besides the fact that her big world tour kicks off on May 5, Taylor was also named Artist Of The Year at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
“I’m so proud of the fact that, having done this for 10 years now, we’ve gotten closer and closer with each year, not further apart,” Taylor said while addressing her fans in her acceptance speech. I love knowing your stories. Thank you for joking around with me on Instagram and Twitter and Tumblr. You make me so happy.”
Oh, and let’s not forget — she also won for Best Lyrics and Song Of The Year, for “Blank Space” and “Shake It Off,” respectively, at the big show. Congrats, Taylor!
HollywoodLifers, do you think Taylor and Madonna should record music together?! OR should they just leave their collaborating at this amazing one-time deal?
