Deadpool is getting sensual! Ryan Reynolds is donning the red spandex again for the upcoming ‘X-Men’ spinoff titled, obviously, ‘Deadpool,’ and the actor was kind enough to share a first photo with us!

Deadpool is getting all hot and bothered! In the highly anticipated Deadpool, due out Feb. 12, 2016, Ryan Reynolds will reprise the role he played in the 2009 film X-Men Origins: WolverineWe don’t know much about the film yet, but thanks to Ryan’s generosity, we now have a first pic! Check it out but– spoiler alert– it involves a bearskin rug and fireplace. Seriously.

Ryan Reynolds Is Deadpool

Is Deadpool about to offer us a glass of chardonnay?

It looks like it in this first photo! Ryan, dressed in full Deadpool getup, stretches out on a mahogany floor, complete with a dark brown bearskin rug. Behind him, obviously, a romantic fire roars.

Along with the admittedly silly pic, Ryan Tweeted, “With great power, comes great irresponsibility. #deadpool #officialsuit @deadpoolmovie”

I think he got that saying a little mixed up!

A Different Kind Of X-Men

Deadpool has been in the works for quite a while now, and Ryan understands exactly why it’s taken so long.

“He’s a character that’s aware he’s in a film, he’s aware that he breaks the fourth wall,” Ryan told Entertainment Weekly. “I mean, he does certain things that are unlike anything else in the X-Men Universe, yet he is a part of the X-Men Universe.”

Though Deadpool is part of the X-Men franchise, Ryan believes it will be very different than any of the other films.

“It makes it a little challenging, I think, to find a way,” Ryan said. “He’s so popular—the comic book alone [is] one of the most popular selling comic books of all time so it’s exiting to be here shooting it. We don’t have the budget that most X-Men movies do. In the super hero world, this would be considered an independent film.”

What do you think of Ryan’s Deadpool pic? Are you excited for the movie?
