While we have to wait until April 5 to see the Mad Men cast in the final season, we got a taste of our favorite celebs like January Jones and Kiernan Shipka looking even more glamorous on the red carpet than they do on the show (which we thought was impossible)!
Christina Hendricks, who plays our favorite girl boss Joan Harris, looked stunning styling her newly dyed strawberry blonde hair (which looked mysteriously darker than it did just last week) in retro waves by Gregory Russell.
To get a similar look, apply a volumizing mousse to damp hair before you blow your hair dry completely. Then wrap your hair around the ghd Curve Classic Wave Wand, and set with hairspray.
Makeup artist Vanessa Scali kept Christina’s makeup look classic with oversized lashes and a bold red lip similar to this Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense in 8 Matte Bright Red.
January Jones, who plays Betty Francis on the show, went for a completely different look from co-star Christina’s classic look with a tousled updo and nude smokey eye and matching lip combo thanks to makeup artist Rachel Goodwin, who was working with Chanel. January, who was wearing Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2015, looked modern and fresh.
Once we got over how grown up Kiernan Shipka (who plays Don and Betty’s daughter, Sally Draper, on the show) looked, we obsessed over her perfect cat eye and bold brows by makeup artist Lauren Gott. Straying from a look that was too serious, hairstylist Kylee Heath pulled back Kiernan’s blonde lob into a wavy ponytail.
If you want to recreate some of Mad Men‘s retro looks from show favorites like January, Christina and Kiernan, Birchbox is creating limited edition boxes for both men and women to help you channel Betty, Joan and Sally from home.
We loved seeing some of our Mad Men favorites back on the red carpet, but we couldn’t help but miss Jessica Paré, Alison Brie and Elisabeth Moss!
Whose look did you love the most? Will you be watching the final half of Mad Men‘s last season?
