RiRi & Rita are thinking pink! Both pop stars stepped out looking pretty in pink from head-to-toe, but who pulled off the monochrome trend better? Click below to VOTE!
Rihanna has been favoring all pink everything lately, and now Rita Ora has hopped on board! The monochrome trend is bigger than ever, but which star’s look do you love? Get the details on their head turning looks right here.
Rita Ora’s Pink Outfit — Rocks Monochrome Look Right After Rihanna:
Rihanna was our first international singing sensation to rock the all pink look. We were pleasantly surprised when we first saw her in NYC rocking pastel pink for Good Morning America, and we’ve never seen powder pink look so bossy!
She was wearing a Pascal Millet stirrup jumpsuit with a matching blazer and dramatic fur stole, and she topped it all of with pink Christian Louboutin heels. Pink really seems to be her new favorite color, because she’s wearing it everywhere.
Rita Ora V. Rihanna: Who Wore All Pink Better?
Rita had a different take than RiRi on her all pink look and she was hard to miss in a bright fuchsia pantsuit!
She donned fuchsia pencil trousers with a ribbed turtleneck and a matching jacket that featured a black leather panel to break up the bright pink.
Rita also mixed things up by pairing the outfit with off-white suede shoes, possibly in an attempt to tone down her bright look.
The Monochrome Trend: How To Rock It
The monochrome trend is bigger than ever, and no one does matchy-matchy quite like Jennifer Lopez!
One way to never fail at a monochrome attempt is to take a note from from JLo and bare a little skin like she did in her orange Valentino tunic and matching Versace sandals. This prevents bright monochromatic looks from being too overwhelming.
If you’re going to cover up in your one color look, take it from RiRi and go with a pastel or a neutral color; this prevents that costume-like crayon affect that, (I hate to admit!), I’m totally getting from Rita.
