Rob’s family may be trying to put on a front to their millions of fans that his Instagram diss is all part of his wacky sense of humor but HollywoodLife.com has learned that it’s much more deep and dark than that.
Rob Kardashian rarely speaks to his family and he is refusing their help, an insider tells HollywoodLife.com. His Instagram post comparing Kim Kardashian to Rosemund Pike‘s manipulative character from Gone Girl made headlines all over the world and we have learned that he not only has a problem with Kim, he has withdrawn from his entire family.
Rob Kardashian Refusing To See Anyone — Stay Home For Days
An insider tells us that his family doesn’t see him very much and that he stays in his room for days.
“Rob has become progressively more and more anti social,” the source says. “Refusing to see anyone — sometimes staying in his room for days and days. It’s frightening.”
As for the mean post with the caption: “This is my sister Kim, the b**ch from Gone Girl,” the insider tells us that no one is quite sure what prompted Rob to do it.
“No one in the family is sure what prompted his angry post towards Kim, but it definitely got their attention,” the source adds. “Kim has been more prone to treat Rob with tough love, but generally that means she has given his space to do what he needs to do thinking he would come out of the darkness when he was ready. She certainly didn’t do anything so harsh that it warranted that kind of response from Rob.
Rob Struggling With Depression
A family insider told People that Rob posted the pic because he thought it was funny, not to hurt anyone.
“He has a funny sense of humor and posts weird things and then deletes them,” a source told the magazine . “It’s just him … He’s been depressed and just a bit off in general. But he has always been this way. He just can’t lose the weight and he doesn’t try – he just sits around.”
We really hope that Rob gets the help that he needs and that his family supports him during this tough time in his life.
