While most stars play coy about their body, the Aussie rapper is quick to admit that she augmented her famous figure. Isn’t it refreshing to hear her talk about the change so candidly?
Whenever a celeb goes under the knife their eagle eye fans are left guessing whether or not they enhanced their shape — but Iggy Azalea, 24, is taking the guesswork out of her recent breast augmentation. For her very first feature in Vogue‘s April 2015 issue, the Australian rapper opened up about why she decided to get breast implants — and we love how open and honest she is.
Iggy Azalea’s Boob Job — Admits She Got Breast Implants In ‘Vogue’ Interview:
When the magazine asked Iggy what she would change about her body, she was quick to reply quite candidly. “I did change something: Four months ago, I got bigger boobs! I’d thought about it my entire life.”
The performer said originally she decided to never discuss it because she didn’t want her young fans to feel bad about their own figures. “But then,” she said, “I decided I wasn’t into secret-keeping.”
We think it is so refreshing that Iggy is so open about having a breast augmentation — not many stars would decide their very first feature in the fashion mag would be the perfect place to reveal such news, but the rapper didn’t hold anything back.
Iggy Azalea On Body Image:
While she might have enhanced her cleavage, when Iggy steps out on stage or the red carpet it is usually her shapely derriere that has everyone talking — in fact, she even collaborated with Jennifer Lopez, (who is also blessed with a backside), on her hit song, “Booty.” “It’s about proportion. I have to have everything tailored because I have such a small waist. I’m a 2 or a 0 on the top, and a 6 on the bottom,” the rapper admitted to the fashion mag.
Sure, her shape is constantly praised, but that wasn’t always the case. “When I first got to the States, people told me I should think about modeling,” she said. “So I went to a few agencies, but once they measured my body”—she stands five feet ten inches—“they didn’t like me anymore.”
Not only was she turned away, but she was told to lose weight and get a nose job — but she wasn’t going to let that discourage her, although she admitted it did take a toll on her. “I was looking in the mirror a little differently.”
Not only does Iggy look gorgeous in her first Vogue feature, but we love how honest she was about her body. Do you?
