Could Jim go from playing one brainiac to another? There’s one super villain that Jim wouldn’t mind playing, and that’s the Riddler! Click to WATCH Jim explain why!
Jim Parsons, 41, playing the Riddler would be one of the best star castings we’ve seen in a long time. The Big Bang Theory star revealed in an all-new interview that he wouldn’t mind donning Edward Nygma’s notorious green suit and being one of Batman’s biggest foes in a future film!
Jim Parsons As The Riddler? Actor Wants To Play Batman Villain
“I would love to play a superhero in a movie,” Parsons told MTV while promoting Home. “I would like to be a villain. And I would really like to play The Riddler. I don’t feel they’re using the Riddler very much, are they?”
Not really, Jim! The Riddler hasn’t been seen in a live action Batman film since 1995’s Batman Forever. The master of trickery was played by Jim Carrey. There were rumors that Joseph Gordon Levitt’s secret role in The Dark Knight Rises could turn out to be the Riddler, but he ended up being Robin.
Jim’s been promoting a number of films lately, but he’s got more than enough dough from his Big Bang Theory gig to last him a long time.
Jim, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki inked a deal to earn $1 million per episode before starting season 8, according to our sister site Deadline. Given the 24 episodes the show has had in the past, that amounts to $24 million per episode!
HollywoodLifers, do you think Jim would be a good choice to play the Riddler? Let us know!
