So horrifying. A young mother-to-be was lured to another woman’s house and brutally stabbed after responding to a Craigslist ad for baby clothes. The most disturbing part was the victim’s unborn child was cut and removed from her body during the attack.
Dynel Catrece Lane, 34, was been arrested on March 18 after she allegedly lured a 26-year-old expectant mother to her Colorado home and viciously stabbed her. The victim was responding to Dynel’s Craiglist ad that stated she was selling baby clothes. The suspect then brutally beat, stabbed and cut the woman and removed her unborn fetus, killing the baby in the process.

It was a gruesome scene at a home in Longmont, Colorado. Officers were called to the house for a reported stabbing and found a woman who had been slashed in the stomach and had her baby removed, according to NBC News.
The victim had responded to a Craiglist ad selling baby clothes posted by Dynel. When the expectant mother showed up to suspect’s house alone, she was allegedly beaten and stabbed in her stomach.
The suspect then cut and pulled the child from the victims body, killing the baby in the process. The two women reportedly didn’t know one another prior to the attack. How awful.
The Suspect Claimed She Had A Miscarriage
Dynel then took the dead baby and was reportedly driven to a local hospital by her husband, where she told hospital staff she had suffered a miscarriage. As of right now, the husband isn’t a suspect according to the Daily Mail. The husband believed his wife had suffered a miscarriage. Police haven’t commented on whether Dynel had recently been pregnant, according to the outlet.
She know faces charges of first-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, and child abuse knowingly and recklessly resulting in death.
As for the young victim, she was rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery and is expected to survive.
