Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Give Me One Reason’ Tracy Chapman Cover
We could sway to Kelly’s cover of “Give Me One Reason” all day! The singer flaunted her incredible vocals with a guitar and organ playing by her side. In the day of autotune and remixes, it’s nice to see a simple yet beautiful version of a song.
The American Idol winner can belt out lyrics like nobody’s business, but Kelly opted to tap into her lower vocals for her Tracy Chapman rendition. It all seemed so effortless for Kelly.
As Kelly promotes her new album, she’s been everywhere on late night shows and more. On the March 2 episode, she performed a “History Of Duets” medley with Jimmy Fallon! And it shall go down in history.
Throughout the number, Kelly and Jimmy sang Sonny and Cher‘s “I Got You Babe,” Human League‘s “Don’t You Want Me,” Elton John‘s “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” and more! They ended the duet with Lionel Richie and Diana Ross’s “Endless Love.” It was incredible.
