With ‘Glee’ coming to a close, everyone is looking to the future for our favorite Glee clubbers– even the actors who play them!
Glee is wrapping for good on Mar. 20, and we may never know for sure where Rachel (Lea Michele) and co. will go the rest of their lives. However, that isn’t stopping Chord Overstreet from guessing! Chord revealed to us EXCLUSIVELY some of his hopes for Sam’s future and they are, uh, pretty interesting!
‘Glee’: Sam’s Ending
Does Chord think Sam should get back on that pole once Glee wraps?
Believe it or not, he does! Prior to the Glee PaleyFest panel on Mar. 13, Chord told us EXCLUSIVELY what he believes Sam’s future has in store. When asked whether Rachel should end up with Sam or Jesse (Jonathan Groff), the answer was simple.
“Jesse! They’re probably more in sync with what they want and, you know, they’re a little older and ready to settle down,” Chord said. “Sam still needs to sew his royal oats a little bit, maybe get back on the pole for, like, a couple weeks.”
Well, we would definitely like to get a peak at those couple weeks. Just sayin’!
Also of note, remember those very infamous gold shorts? Well guess who snagged those from the set and now has them in his possession? We’ll give you a hint: his name rhymes with Bored Overheat.
On a more serious note, Chord also revealed to us how it was to film the very last episode of the groundbreaking series. Asked to describe the last day on set, he summed it up perfectly in one word: “Gratitude.”
Chord also echoed that emotional sentiment on a recent appearance on Ellen. When the talk show host asked about the late Cory Monteith, Chord said that “There’s a moment in the last episode that we had and obviously when we wrapped we all kind of took a moment to kind of…” he stated, letting his thought trail off. “He was there though. We could feel him. He was there.”
So very touching.
Do you think Sam should return to the pole, HollywoodLifers? And are you excited for the Glee finale?
