We are getting seriously close to the season 5 premiere of ‘Game of Thrones’! To get us ready, HBO has released not one but two sneak peeks! Check ’em out!

We are just a couple weeks away from the highly anticipated (huge understatement) season 5 premiere of Game of Thrones. If these previews are any indication, the new season is going to be a bumpy ride. What was the real reason for Varys (Conleth Hill) choosing to rescue Tyrion (Peter Dinklage)? What’s going to happen to those living north of the wall? All this and more will be tackled head on in the season’s Apr. 12 premiere on HBO.

‘Game Of Thrones’: Tyrion & Varys Have A Talk

“You never told me why you set me free,” Tyrion says to Varys in the first of two just released sneak peeks at Game of Thrones.

“Your brother asked me to,” he responds. Uh, sorry Varys, that’s not nearly a good enough answer.

“You risked your life, your position, everything,” Tyrion points out. “Why? You’re not family.” Of course, the truth then comes out.

“I didn’t do it for you,” Varys tells him. “I did it for the seven kingdoms.”

What’s More Important?

In the second clip, we see Jon Snow (Kit Harington) confront Mance Rayder (Ciaran Hinds) who, as we know, is the leader of the Free Folk and is also currently a prisoner of Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane).

“You told me you weren’t here to conquer, you told me your people had bled enough,” Jon says. Mance agrees, however, Jon doesn’t really buy it. “You spent your life convincing 90 clans to come together for the first time in history… Isn’t their survival more important than your pride?”

Well, we will surely find out when the new season finally premieres!
