On the season finale of ‘Empire,’ Lucious is recruiting a legend to join Empire Records: The one and only Snoop Dogg! The two musical titans will team up for some massive–and revenge-driven– payback!

I don’t think any of us are prepared for the Mar. 18 season finale of Empire. The two hour event will feature everything from Cookie’s (Taraji P. Henson) new love affair, to the fallout of Andre’s (Trai Byers) bipolar disorder to–yup!– even Snoop Dogg himself! In this sneak peek for the big episode, we see how Lucious (Terrence Howard) was able to get Snoop on Team Empire– but they’ve both got ulterior motives!

‘Empire’ Finale: Snoop Dogg Joins Empire Records

Hakeem (Bryshere Gray) and Jamal (Jussie Smollett), you’ve got some label-mate competition.

On the season finale of Empire, still in the midst of taking the label public, Lucious has gotten Snoop Dogg to sign with Empire Records. However, the relationship seems like it will be mutually beneficial for both parties! As to why Snoop decided to sign, he gives just one reason: “Double L, man,” he says at a press conference. “The man, the myth, the legend right here, and let’s just say Lucious cut me in on a  piece of that action.”

Um, let’s say more!

“That’s the whole reason I’m taking Empire public,” Lucious adds. “So that my artists can share in the wealth. This is the age of social justice. Like my man Jay Z said, ‘we’re gonna make ’em pay for what they did to Cold Crush back in the day.'”

‘Everything Will Be Flipped On Its Head’

Snoop won’t be the only big name on hand during the explosive Empire finale. The star studded episode will also feature Rita Ora and Patti LaBelle, as well as returning guest stars Naomi Campbell and Jennifer Hudson.

Along with the hundred watt star power, fans can also expect to be completely blown away by big changes which will present themselves in the finale. “Everything will be flipped on its head,” Jussie told our sister site TV Line. “We are dealing with an entire family: three sons, one mother, one father, wives, boyfriends, lovers. We’re dealing with all of these different people coming in and out. The world is going to be flipped on its head at some point. That’s just the way it is, but I really think that people will join the Lyon family on their crazy, dysfunctional, f—ed-up journey and want to see where they go.”

Are you excited to see Snoop on Empire? Are you ready for the season finale?
