‘The Voice’ – The Battle Rounds Come To An End
Christina’s first battle pairing of the night was Jeremy Gaynor and Rob Taylor. Instead of picking a soul song, which would have been the obvious choice for the two powerhouses, Christina picked “Animals” by Maroon 5 for them to sing.
“You guys did a great job,” Adam assured them afterwards, but his choice would be Jeremy. Christina felt differently in her heart and went with Rob as the winner of the battle. “I want to explore Rob’s capabilities,” she explained about her decision.
Noelle Bybee and Sawyer Fredricks of Team Pharrell teamed up next. The young singers sang “Have You Ever Seen The Rain,” and they sounded so beautiful on stage.
“I appreciate you both,” Pharrell said. “But the winner of this battle is Sawyer.”
Pharrell Uses His Final Steal
Blake’s final pairing was Corey Kent White and Jacob Rummell. They sang “I Want Crazy” by Hunter Hayes (such a great song!)
They both have such different vocals which made the performance that much more dynamic and amazing. Blake had to choose only one singer to keep on his team, and he chose Corey!
Pharrell thought so highly of Jacob that he used his very last steal on him!
