So shocking! Even though Scott admitted that he’s seeking treatment for ‘issues’ ‘bigger than’ himself, he’s not being entirely truthful, a source claims. HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that he was paid to go to rehab.
Scott Disick, 31, checked himself into a rehab facility after a long booze-filled weekend, a new report claimed earlier today, March 16. Rythmia Life Advancement Center in Costa Rica, the facility Scott reportedly surrendered himself to, even released a statement on behalf of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star. But HollywoodLife.com has just EXCLUSIVELY learned that it’s all a ruse!
Scott Disick’s Rehab Story Is Fake — He Was Paid To Enter Treatment, Won’t Stay
“Scott was paid to go to rehab. He won’t be there for 30 days and no legit rehab facility would ever send out a press release,” a source close to Scott tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
So is it all fake? It sure seems that way. Apparently, it’s just another endorsement for the Kardashians to cash in on.
This is so disheartening, as many people really do struggle with addiction. It’s almost as if Scott is making a mockery of the disease and the ways people go about trying to cure it.
Scott Disick’s Bizarre Therapy Plan Revevaled
What’s also bizarre is that Scott was planning on undergoing Iboga treatment in rehab, TMZ claims.
“Iboga is a psychoactive drug, which enables the user to have insight into his/her plight in life, and illuminate their spiritual being, so as to overcome their ‘addiction’ by deeper understanding of self,” Dr. Barry M. Rose MD, Anesthesiologist, California Pacific Medical Center tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
While it has its perks, it also has some scary side effects. The drug can bring about psychosis, behavioral issues, physical calamities and more.
This all sounds so crazy. While we certainly applaud anyone who has enough strength and maturity to seek treatment for their own addiction, we’re a bit ashamed of Scott for pretending he’s staying in rehab for 30 days — all for monetary purposes.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Does it shock you that Scott was paid to go to rehab? Does it make you angry? Tell us how you feel!
