Kylie has just been announced as a new ambassador for the skincare brand Nip + Fab, which is best known for its anti-wrinkle products. Has she forgotten that she’s only 17?! We asked an expert to weigh in on why Kylie and other teens would be wise to steer clear of these kinds of products.
At just 17 years old, Kylie Jenner has made Nip + Fab’s “Viper Venom Wrinkle Fix” part of her daily beauty regimen. While we love the product, we think it’s totally unnecessary for a beautiful young girl like Kylie to be using it! Cosmetic dermatologist Dr. Doris Day agrees and recommends an alternative anti-aging product for teens — check it out!
Kylie Jenner Using Anti-Wrinkle Products At 17 — Doctor Speaks Out
Kylie has been promoting the “Viper Venom Wrinkle Fix” on social media since October, when she took to her Instagram to post the following:
But Dr. Doris Day tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that anti-wrinkle venom is the last thing Kylie and other girls her age need.
“The best anti-wrinkle product for a teen is sunscreen,” she explains. “It’s about prevention at that age, and 90 percent of wrinkles are caused by sun exposure. If teens were sun-smart — wore SPF 30, reapplied regularly, wore a hat, didn’t go tanning and used a spray-on sunscreen if they wanted a tanned look — they would keep their beautiful healthy glow and never need to use the other products.”
Wow! This is such amazing advice. We hope Kylie is listening!
Kylie Jenner’s Six Alleged Plastic Surgeries: Real Reason She Did It — Doctor Speaks
Kylie’s beauty routine isn’t the only thing she’s come under fire for recently. A new report from OK! magazine claims that Kylie has had six plastic surgery procedures, including a breast augmentation, an eyebrow lift, upper eyelid surgery, a chin implant, jaw reshaping and a nose job.
Psychiatrist Dr. Carole Lieberman told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Kylie may feel pressure to go under the knife because “she’s having to compete with older sisters who’ve already made their fame and fortune from being seen as gorgeous and sexy. If Kylie had been born into a normal family, it’s unlikely she would have felt she needed to get plastic surgery at such a young age. But there is the tremendous pressure of sibling rivalry and she feels she’s competing for the love of the world.”
Poor Kylie. We hope that she will come to realize that she’s a naturally beautiful young woman who doesn’t need any help from doctors or anti-wrinkle products!
