Lil Wayne Responds To Shooting Scare At Miami Home: It Was A ‘Prank Call’

Lil Wayne wants his fans to know that he’s totally fine after someone pranked the police by reporting that 4 people had been shot inside his Miami home. Phew!

Lil Wayne, 32, was everyone’s main concern after hearing about the shooting being reported at his home. Thankfully, it turned out to be a nasty prank, and now Weezy has finally responded to the swatting mess made by someone with a bad sense of humor.

It was a scary moment for Lil Wayne’s friends, family, and fans when the news reported that the Miami Police Department were investigating a shooting inside his mansion. But, thankfully, it was just a swatting attempt — which means it wasn’t real.

“Prank call mane,” is how Lil Wayne responded to the reports after hearing everything that went down. His tweet, which only featured those 3 words, quickly grabbed the attention of his concerned fans. As of the time and date of this article, it was retweeted over 6,000 times!

As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Lil Wayne wasn’t even home when the prank call was made. This was the first sign of relief terrified fans received after the shooting was reported, but before police realized they were being pranked.
