During his taping with Dr. Phil, Nick had no choice but to finally address his rumored issues with drugs, alcohol, and depression. But, the ugly truth gets to Nick — sending his interview into a downward spiral.
As Bobbi Kristina Brown, 22, continues to fight for her life, her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, 24, is struggling with his own alleged drug and alcohol problems. In an interview with Dr. Phil, Nick is forced to confront his demons. The results are explosive as you’ll see in this short preview of the interview that will air on March 11.
Nick Gordon’s Dr. Phil Interview: Storms Out & Refuses Rehab
Things get real for Nick — a little too real for his liking. At first, it’s almost too painful to watch as he has an emotional breakdown over the tragedies surrounding Bobby Kristina and her mother, Whitney Houston, who considered him to be an “adopted” son. But, when Dr. Phil brings up Nick’s drinking before telling him to go to rehab, the shaken young man ignores the advice and decides to end the interview by getting up and leaving.
Dr. Phil warned Nick that if he didn’t change his ways, he’d “be dead in a week.” Truth be told, Dr. Phil has a very valid point. Nick has a long record of disturbing behavior, the most recent being a suicidal tweet sent out before Bobbi Kristina’s birthday.
The list of red flags from Nick is long, maybe too long, including marijuana residue allegedly found in Nick’s car during a police stop and and getting cited for pointing a gun at one of Bobbi’s friends back in 2011. So shocking.
It seems that Nick took Dr. Phil’s advice to heart because three days after the interview, he reportedly checked himself into rehab for substance abuse and depression. Hopefully, Nick gets the help he desperately needs to keep his fragile life in tact.
Bobbi Kristina’s Aunt Claims Nick Is Under Investigation For Attempted Murder
Unfortunately, the coast isn’t clear just yet.
Nick may have a big problem waiting for him when he gets out of rehab. According to Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, Leolah Brown, Nick is under investigation for the attempted murder of her niece. Nick has not been officially charged, but police were allegedly looking into any foul play involved in her drowning.
Even if rehab helps Nick get a hold over his drinking, his problems may only just be starting.
Are you going to watch the Dr. Phil interview, HollywoodLifers? Do you think that Nick will successfully complete rehab?
