Talk about having your hands full! After struggling to get pregnant for eight years, Ashley and Tyson Gardner were blessed with not just one, but two sets of identical twin girls! How amazing!

It took Ashley and Tyson Gardner what seemed like a lifetime to get pregnant, but in July 2014, the couple got the happy news they were expecting after the help of IVF treatments. The good news didn’t stop there, the American Fork, Utah, pair learned they were having identical twins — two sets! Wow.

Parents Welcome Two Sets Of Identical Twins After IVF Treatment

It was a one-in-a-million chance, but Ashley and Tyson welcomed two sets of identical twins in Dec. 2014 via C-secton, after trying to get pregnant for eight years according to People. Ashley had been diagnosed with endometriosis and doctors placed the odds of a successful pregnancy with one baby at less than 40 percent.

“It was devastating – there were times when I was very distraught, wondering if we’d ever have a family,” Ashley told People. “But I coped and kept faith, thanks to Tyson. We are a team. You can either let something like this tear your marriage apart or you can become closer. We chose the latter and grew even closer as we dealt with each challenge.” We can’t imagine how emotionally painful that was for the couple.

But after trying naturally and also with artificial insemination, the couple sought out IVF treatments. Six weeks later, the miracle happened!

“It’s incredibly rare,” says Dr. Russell Foulk, the family’s fertility specialist. “I’ve never seen it before. Every birth is a miracle, but the birth of these babies is a miracle four times over.”

Ashley & Tyson Grateful They Don’t Get Sleep

Indie, Esme, Scarlett and Evangeline are four lucky girls. Both of their parents have jumped into parenthood feet first! They have a schedule set in place according to People.

Ashley handles the day shift for feedings and diaper changes, while her husband takes over for the nights. And yes, they are very, very tired! “Things are going great so far. We’re tired, sure, but we’re absolutely happy. Once we get the babies on the same feeding schedule, we’ll be able to catch up on our sleep,” Ashley revealed. “After waiting for so long to have a family, we want to be as hands-on as we can.”

The happy couple also has more exciting news to look forward too. TLC plans to document the family’s experiences as part of an upcoming show on first-time parents, according to the outlet. We will definitely be watching that show!
