Now that Kelly Osbourne said farewell to ‘Fashion Police’, ‘E!’ has a ‘handful of people’ on deck to replace the beloved star. The network is being extra choosey, so of course, they have an elaborate plan to find the perfect replacement — here’s what we EXCLUSIVELY learned!
While many are still shocked Kelly Osbourne, 30, will not be returning to Fashion Police after Giuliana Rancic’s racism scandal, E! is determined to find the right replacement for her that people will love. The network wants to get someone who “people will be talking about for awhile”, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Here’s what we know!
Kelly Osbourne ‘Fashion Police’ Replacement: ‘E!’s Plan To Replace Her
“E! looked into having many people replace Joan Rivers after her death for the show, so they have a handful of people to possibly bring in on the show. But their idea is to have people come in as a trial and then see who the fans react to and what ratings look like,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“They want to handle it like a Live with Kelly Ripa thing where she eventually found Michael [Strahan] to be the best fit,” our source continues. “E! wants it to be something that people will be talking about for a while to get the word out and have the show continue to be a success. E! doesn’t want to make quick and rash decisions.”
We agree. One of the best things about Fashion Police is the chemistry between hosts Giuliana, Kathy Griffin and Brad Goreski, and their ability to feed off each other’s energies. If they replace Kelly on a whim and get the wrong person, that could be a disaster!
Khloe Kardashian Replacing Kelly Osbourne On ‘Fashion Police’?
One of the big contenders to replace Kelly is none other than E’s very own Khloe Kardashian! As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, it’s “very possible” the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star will join Fashion Police.
“Khloe would love to be a part of the show if she was asked and Kris Jenner is doing everything in her power to make it a reality,” an insider told us EXCLUSIVELY.
