Talyor Swift, 25, took a look into the future in a new interview and confessed she doesn’t see herself ever in a successful relationship again. Suddenly, the pop singer known for her love life sees herself alone for the rest of her days. Well, not completely alone …
Taylor Swift Still Single After 30? Shares Relationship Fears In New Interview
“I’ll probably be single,” Taylor Swift said in a recent interview with The Telegraph when she was asked where she saw herself when she finally hit the big 3-0. The “Shake It Off” singer admitted that she doesn’t see herself ever being happy with her love life.
“No one is going to sign up for [being in a relationship with her] and everything that goes with it,” she said. “Like, ‘Hi, nice to meet you, want a date? Do you love camera flashes? I hope you do!’ I don’t know what’s going to happen if I’m ever content in a relationship – no idea how that’s going to work. I don’t even know if that’s possible with the life I have.”
Taylor seems to realize that being the biggest name in pop music means that everything she does will be accompanied by camera flashes and tweets. And with Taylor’s relationships (especially the break-ups) getting so much attention, it’s understandable how she would be disillusioned and better off destined for the single life.
But Taylor shouldn’t give up. At 25, everybody goes through ups and downs with relationships and very few find the right ones right away. Despite being Taylor Swift, she’s still amazingly just 25 and has a whole life ahead of her. Plenty of chances to find a fulfilling romantic relationship.
Taylor Swift Sees A Future Full Of Cats
At least she’ll still have her cat.
“In five years’s time,” Taylor joked as she continued to imagine the Taylor Swift of the Future, “she’ll be so afraid of everything, she doesn’t leave her house. She’s just surrounded by cats. So many cats, they’ve divided themselves up into armies and she wanders around lint-rolling the couch that no one’s going to sit on because she’s afraid to have people over.”
We have no problem with a cat-filled life for anyone. But it’s hard for us to believe that Taylor is going to be someone afraid of going outside. At just 25, Taylor has accomplished so much that her Awards and Achievements have their own Wikipedia entry. She also had the best selling album on the planet in 2014 with last year’s 1989. She’s an undeniable talent, a hard worker and a smart business mind who has conquered the world. We can’t buy a friendless future of Fancy Feast for her.
Perhaps Taylor is committing too strongly to being single? We think that if anyone can make fame and love work, it’s Taylor Swift.
But, what do you think, Hollywood Lifers? Do you think Taylor is destined for a life of lint rollers and cats? Or do you think that she’ll find a way to shake off being single and find love by the time she turns 30?
