T.I., Young Jeezy and Yo Gotti have dodged a bullet — literally. The rappers were enjoying a promotional party at the popular Label nightclub at the N.C. Music Factory in Charlotte, North Carolina on Feb. 28, when shots were fired from the crowd at approximately 7.p.m.
Luckily for T.I., Young Jeezy and Yo Gotti, they were all unharmed when gunfire started during a college event headlined by the rappers. However, two unnamed club goers were injured – both sustaining non-life threatening injuries. One female was transported to Carolina’s Medical Center. A short time later, another individual was self-transported to CMC Main.

Officer J.D. Thomas revealed to HollywoodLife.com, that the hip-hop stars were in the club at the time of shooting. He also confirmed that evidence gathered from the scene indicated that one suspect fired several shots from inside the club striking the two victims.
Detectives with homicide are currently scoping the scene as the investigation continues. As of yet, a suspect hasn’t been identified.
The party called the CIAA Weekend Takeover featured performances by T.I., Young Jeezy and Yo Gotti. However, police confirmed that the three weren’t on stage at the time of the incident and had performed before gun fire erupted.
According to reports, Sean “Diddy” Combs was scheduled to appear at the event at 10p.m. – just three hours before the shooting.
Police Investigating Shooting
Speaking about the incident, Officer J.D. Thomas said: “This appears to be a random shooting that was probably started by an argument.
“This is an ongoing, active investigation, and as new information develops it will be released by CMPD Public Affairs.
