Stick a fork in it because this feud is DONE. While out with her dad, Zendaya revealed that she is totally over the Giuliana Rancic comments — and she thinks we should be, too.
Zendaya might only be 18 years old, but she definitely knows when it’s time to put an end to something. Now that the young actress/singer has accepted Giuliana Rancic‘s apology after making totally uncalled for comments about her dreadlocks on the 2015 Oscars red carpet, Zendaya is done with all of the drama.
Zendaya Over Giuliana Rancic Feud: ‘Let It Go’
In the words of Frozen‘s Elsa, let it go! That’s what Zendaya is now saying about her back-and-forth with Fashion Police‘s Giuliana now that it’s all over.
“I think it’s over, and I think we all learned from it,” Zendaya told TMZ while leaving a studio with her father, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, on Thursday night, Feb. 26 in Los Angeles.
Interestingly enough, Zendaya refused to comment on whether or not she felt Giuliana’s remarks were racially motivated. Instead, the young and extremely mature star spun the conversation into something much more positive.
“I think as long as she learned, as long as everyone learned from it, it’s a positive experience,” Zendaya said with a smile as she held onto her father’s arm.
Wow. Zendaya sure is a smart girl, and definitely a very positive role models for other girls her age!
Zendaya Graciously Accepted Giuliana’s Apology
“It is important in this journey to remember that just because someone has inflicted hurt upon us, it does not give us the right to do the same,” the teen wrote. “Giuliana, I appreciate your apology and I’m glad it was a learning experience for you and for the network. I hope that others negatively affected by her words can also find it in their hearts to accept her apology as well.”
