Madonna took a painful fall down a staircase while performing her song “Living For Love” at the 35th annual BRIT Awards at the O2 Arena in London on Feb. 25! It was her first time in 20 years performing at the awards show and she definitely gave an unforgettable performance!
Madonna, 56, proved that she’s as tough as ever as she plunged down a set of stairs on stage during her performance of “Living For Love” at the 2015 BRIT Awards! Despite the The Queen of Pop’s terrible tumble, she got back on her feet and blew all of the other performers out of the water! See the fall!
Madonna Falls Down Stairs At BRIT Awards Performance
Madonna had us worried for a moment! The music icon took the stage in a custom matador-inspired jacket by Nicolas Jebran, with a long black train following behind her. As she stood on top of a set of prop stairs, her back up dancers pulled on the train which unfortunately got snagged on Madonna and pulled her crashing down! People gasped and she fell, fearing they may have to stop the performance.
But we should have known Madonna would shake it off and she did. She popped back up on her feet, shed the robe and gave the crowd what they were waiting for, hardly skipping a beat.
The performance comes ahead of the highly anticipated release of Madonna’s 13th studio album, Rebel Heart, on March 9. She will also reportedly be going on a world tour to promote the album, according to Madonna Tribe. We can’t wait for more Madge!
Madonna Honored With Lifetime Achievement Award
What a night for Madonna! In addition to delivering a show-stopping performance, she will reportedly be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the show.
