Sorry, Ezria fans. The Feb. 24 episode of ‘Pretty Little Liars’ just wasn’t for us. We can mourn together.
We’re getting so close the big A reveal, and the Feb. 24 episode of Pretty Little Liars set the stakes higher than ever. The girls made peace with Alison (Sasha Pieterse), A’s out for blood (again), Spencer’s (Troian Bellisario) big college interview went horribly wrong and Aria (Lucy Hale) kissed someone who was definitely not Ezra (Ian Harding).
‘Pretty Little Liars’ Recap: Mike The SituAtion
After weeks of avoiding Alison, Aria, Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Spencer went to visit their former BFF. They revealed what they had just discovered about Mike (Cody Christian) and how Mona (Janel Parrish) wasn’t coming back. Alison was pretty straightforward and told Aria that she would have to tell her lawyers about Mike. It was the only thing that could save her.
Aria pleaded with her not to, and Alison agreed to wait — for now. She didn’t want to hurt Mike, but she definitely wanted out of jail. Aria was primarily worried that Mike would become A’s number one target if Alison said anything.
To get a good handle on her Mike situAtion, Aria spoke to Mrs. Hastings about it very discreetly. In a nutshell, Mike could and would face serious charges if word got out that he was impeding Mona’s murder investigation.
Ruh roh. Mike and his precious muscles and baby blues do NOT belong in jail.
While Alison was biding her time in the jail’s laundry room, she wrote Mona’s name in the dust. Um… does this mean she’ll leave Mike in the dust, too? Dun dun dun. Later, when she returned the laundry room, someone had turned her message into “Mona told everything.”
‘Pretty Little Liars’ Recap: There Will Be Blood
Aria was still being tutored by Andrew, and there was still no sign of Ezra. Andrew took the next step in their tutorship by asking her out. That’s when Aria decided to remember her boyfriend.
Mrs. Hastings forced Spencer to go to Oxford for an interview with a professor. This little getaway was at the worst possible time for Spencer. However, if I were Spence, I’d be glad to get a couple of thousand miles away from A. She met a cute new guy, too!
Aria desperately wanted to find a connection to A and fast, so she took Hanna (Ashley Benson) along to talk to Cyrus. He was currently in the hospital burn unit. When they asked what happened, he could only write, “carjack.”
In regards to Emily’s love life, Talia and Eric were separating, and Talia had quit The Brew. Later, Talia found Emily later practicing for the pageant. One of the coaches stopped by to remind Emily that they only sought contestants with “good moral character.” Talia and Emily thought they were referring to their relationship. Nope. It was just over Emily’s relationship with Alison, the girl on trial for murder. Talia didn’t let that slide. She stuck up for Emily real good.
‘Pretty Little Liars’ Recap: This Kiss, This Kiss
Spencer’s big interview went very well at first. Yeah, until a broken vial of blood spilled all over the professor’s extremely nice chair. That’s one hell of a way to make an impression. Thanks, A.
Hanna figured out that Cyrus wasn’t trying to say he’d been carjacked. He’d actually written “Varjack.” WHO COULD THAT BE?! He/she could very well be the person in the burn unit who likely just killed Cyrus.
As Alison stretched out on her super nice cot, she heard something rolling around on the floor. It was a tiny barrel with a miniature Barbie Alison inside! The note read, “You’re already over a barrel, you wanna be in one, too?” OMG!
Meanwhile, Aria was snooping around Mike’s room. She stepped all over Mike’s equipment and fell! Thankfully, Andrew was there to save her from the shotty equipment. (Still thought it should have been Ezra.) Apparently, someone had changed the nuts and bolts, which Andrew said would have killed Mike!
As Andrew took a look at her ankle, he went in for the big ole kiss! NOOOOOOOO! #EZRIA
After skipping out on the earlier visit, Hanna finally went to visit Alison. Alison apologized for all that she’d done in the past. She thought she was helping the girls by telling them how to act, who to like, etc. Now, no one listened to her. Hanna called a truce with Alison. This was their big chance to start anew. Hanna kicked things off by asking who Varjack was. Nicely done, Hanna.
Cut to the obligatory A moment at the end of episode: A or one of A’s minions bookmarked a section of the Bible with a $20 bill that read, “Vengeance is mine.”
Hasn’t A been getting vengeance for like five years now? Geez.
HollywoodLifers, what did you think of tonight’s Pretty Little Liars? Can you believe Aria and Andrew kissed? Will Mike be A’s next victim? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
