Selena Gomez’s Makeup At Oscars After Party — Gorgeous For Vanity Fair Bash
Nexxus New York Salon Care Celebrity Stylist Lona Vigi created the look for Selena. She told us: “We decided to go with a soft, sexy waved style to complement her black lace gown.”
Here is the how-to from Lona:
“Start by washing and conditioning hair with Nexxus New York Salon Care Oil Infinite Rebalancing Shampoo and Restoring Conditioner for smooth, luminous hair.
To build texture apply Nexxus New York Salon Care Mousse Plus Volumizing Mousse throughout damp hair for lasting volume that moves and blow dry in sections using a round brush.
Once dry, wrap small sections around a large barrel curling iron until all of the hair has been set.
Cool completely and then brush out the hair to create softness.
Finish with Nexxus New York Salon Care Comb Thru Touchable Hold Finishing Mist to provide movement and body to her style.”
Her hair looked absolutely amazing! So soft and shiny!

To go with her black Louis Vuitton gown, Jake Bailey gave her a sexy smokey eye with a hint of shine. Her skin was super bronzey and glowing. Jake told us:
“Selena wore a stunning and dramatic, black sparkly Louis Vuitton floor length dress with long sleeves. I wanted her makeup to be strong to complement the dress but simple and elegant so it wouldn’t compete with it.”
Here’s the exact how to:
“I began by buffing a small amount of Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Perfectly Satin 24HR Makeup all over her face and neck using a foundation brush.
I used the Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate palette in Intensity Two to contour and highlight her cheekbones.
Then I blended Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Cream Blush in Nectar onto the apples of her cheeks for warmth.
Finally, I set the look with a light dusting of Elizabeth Arden Translucent Ceramide Skin Smoothing Loose Powder.
On the eyes, using Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Precision Glide Eyeliner in Black Violet, I lined Selena’s upper lash line and then drew the pencil all over her lids so they were a solid black. I then blended and softened the edges with my fingertips.
I softened the shape even further by blending a touch of Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Eye Shadow in Sparking Sable into the crease of her lid and outward toward the temple for an elongated effect.
I finished the eyes with a coat of Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Lash Enhancing Mascara, and shaped her brows with Expressioniste Brow Pencil in Brunette, setting them in place with a clear brow gel.
To balance the dark eye, I finished with a coat of Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Luminous Lip Gloss in Latte on her lips.
