Over the years, we’ve watched the best actresses in the world grace the Oscars red carpet and after parties in flawless gowns. Let’s take a look back at some of the best!
There’s nothing better than a gorgeous red carpet gown, especially at the Oscars. The 87th Academy Awards air Feb. 22, and we’re so excited to watch our favorite ladies get all dressed up. In the past, Jennifer Lawrence, Lupita Nyong’o, Selena Gomez and more celebs have hit the red carpet and after parties in jaw-dropping dresses. Honestly, we’re still not over Lupita’s 2014 Oscar dress.
Best Oscar Red Carpet Dresses: Jennifer Lawrence & More
JLaw is always a red carpet stunner, but she really showed off her style the year after she won the Oscar. Her 2014 red Dior dress was flawless. It was simple and totally sexy. The dress was very reminiscent of her 2011 red Oscars dress by Ralph Lauren.
Lupita was a red carpet newbie, but her awards season debut was one to be remembered. The 12 Years A Slave Oscar winner looked like an angel at the 2014 Academy Awards in a baby blue Prada dress. Bow down. We can’t wait to see what she has on this year.
Selena’s never been to the Oscars, but she’s been the star of the after parties over the years. Her embellished dress for the Vanity Fair after party is one we won’t soon forget. But we can’t forget about her 2014 look! Her sexy gold gown with that plunging neckline likely had all the guys swooning!
The “Flawless” singer stole show at the 2005 Oscars when she performed on stage, but did the same thing on the red carpet! Her sexy velvet black dress was red hot! Seriously though, Queen Bey always looks fantastic, but we can’t get over this red carpet look!
Mila’s 2013 lavender Elie Saab gown was damn near perfect. Every intricate detail was simply gorgeous. She may not have been nominated for her role in Black Swan, but Mila walked away the winner of the red carpet!
The Oscar winner is also a fashion queen on the red carpet, including that unbelievably stunning gold gown in 2010 when she won for The Blind Side and her deep blue gown at the 2014 Academy Awards.
