‘Glee’s Feb. 20 episode was more like a series reunion, as familiar faces returned for what turned out to be a surprise double wedding! That’s right. Not only did Brittany and Santana exchange ‘I dos,’ but another couple tied the knot as well!
Santana (Naya Rivera) and Brittany (Heather Morris) finally got married on the Feb. 20 episode of Glee. It was an exciting wedding, but they also celebrated their big day by inviting two of their friends to join in on the ceremony! Did Rachel (Lea Michele) and Sam (Chord Overstreet) take the plunge? Or did Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) reunite in the most epic way possible? Find out which second couple also said “I do!”
‘Glee’ Brittany & Santana’s Wedding: Kurt & Blaine Married
Kurt and Blaine also got married! That’s right — Sue (Jane Lynch) finally got her wish. Klaine is officially a thing again. But let’s back up a bit first.
It all started when the entire group of McKinley High graduates started planning Brittany’s wedding in a barn — the one she was born in, nonetheless. Kurt took charge of that avenue, while Rachel, Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) and Mercedes (Amber Riley) took Brittany and Santana dress shopping. (Talk about last minute preparations!)
Brittany spent most of the episode freaking out because Santana peeked at her in her wedding gown before the big ceremony. The gal that was named after Britney Spears felt like they would have major bad luck, but fortunately, everything turned out OK. In fact, the wedding went off without a hitch, and Sue didn’t cause any problems. She did quite the opposite, in fact — Sue helped the girls persuade Kurt and Blaine to also get married on their big day. Plus, she orchestrated a reunion between Santana and her Abuela. (Color us shocked.)
And a wedding wouldn’t be a wedding without special guests.
Familiar Faces Return & Tina Proposes To Mike Chang
A lot of McKinley High graduates returned for the big wedding, including Tina, Mercedes and Puck. But we were super stoked to see Finn’s mom, Kurt’s dad, Mike Chang (Harry Shum, Jr.) and Sugar (Vanessa Lengies)! That girl can tear up a dance floor — that’s for sure.
Plus, those faces and Klaine’s shocking nuptials weren’t the only surprises of the night. Tina also proposed to Mike! Unfortunately, he didn’t accept, but he did ask her to dance. (Poor Tina. She always gets the short end of the stick.)
Oh, and did we mention that Burt Hummel (Mike O’Malley) married the couples? It was so sweet.
Sidenote: There was a slight mention of Finn (Cory Monteith), when Rachel expressed her reservations about sitting next to Sam in front of her late ex’s mom. But Mercedes gave her a bit of a pep talk and Rachel realized that it’s okay to move on with her life.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Are you happy Kurt and Blaine got married? Vote in our poll and tell us how you feel!
