Tommy Hilfiger scores big time with his Fall 2015 collection, which is his best yet. And its’ fun, all-American looks would be fantastic on supermodel Gigi Hadid and rocker Rita Ora.
Tommy Hilfiger brilliantly transformed NYC’s Park Ave Armory into a full football Hilfiger field to showcase his Fall 2015 Super Bowl-inspired collection. Talk about a “Halftime” show. Tommy rivaled Katy Perry for entertainment value when he sent his models out in outfits inspired by football looks circa the 1970s film Love Story.

The innovative designer, 63, was inspired by the edgy preppy Ivy League style of Love Story star Ali MacGraw. Her pleated kilts, plaid looks, chunky sweaters and camel coats all turned up with Tommy’s sexy modern take.
Tommy won points with red leather coats featuring football striped sleeves, blue, red, green and gold leather “touchdown” dresses, flirty box pleated cheerleader skirts and dresses, funky navy coats and capes with football striped borders, plaid jumper dresses, faux-fur toggle coats and loads of upbeat letter jackets and sweaters.

The show and collection were irresistible from the moment the first model hit the turf until the finale, when Tommy danced across the goal line with a winning New England Patriots helmet in hand.
Congrats, Tommy, on topping yourself in this super Love Story/Super Bowl collection which bowled your audience over!
