Hairstylist Bob Recine created three looks for Moroccanoil. He said: “The three distinct hairstyles were inspired by the individuality, edginess and sultriness of the modern woman. Monique’s modern twist on 1920’s feminine silhouettes, created the perfect foundation for sensual and sculpted styles.”
Here’s how to get the top knot:
“Starting with damp hair, apply Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse from root-to-tip and blow dry straight with Moroccanoil Ceramic Hair Dryer.
With Moroccanoil Boar Bristle Paddle Brush, pull hair into tight ponytail at the back of the head. Secure with elastic.
Mist hair with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray to give it extra, long-lasting hold and wrap hair around ponytail into loose, piece-y bun. Keep the bun edgy and letting loose pieces fall out of bun.
Finish with another generous spritz of Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray and Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine for runway-ready, super-sleek finish.”
There were three makeup looks created by Val Garland using MAC Cosmetics. One look focused on a bold red lip, another a smokey eye, and the final was a purple smokey eye. The looks were inspired by Kate Moss.
Nails At Monique Lhuillier
In addition to the three hair looks, there were three nail looks created by Gina Edwards. For a chic nude, she used Morgan Taylor‘s In The Nude mixed with a touch of Latte Please. Bright Eyes was used for a gorgeous teal look and a royal purple look was created by mixing Take The Lead topped with If Looks Could Thrill.
