Bethany Mota’s Sweet Fishtail Braid For NYFW: Exact How To
Bethany looked beyond cute on the front row at the DVF show. Her silvery charcoal smokey eye was the perfect compliment to her black and yellow outfit, and she finished off the look with nude lipstick.
Her makeup was gorgeous, but her hair definitely was the attention grabber! The detail of the fishtailed french braid with the relaxed look of her curled fly aways gave her such a cool, chic look.

Sarah shared exactly what she did to Bethany’s brunette tresses to get her fashion week ready:
2) Starting at the root, I created a 2 strand french fishtail by separating hair into 2 pieces and cross crossing a small section from the left over to the right and then a small section from the right over to the left. Repeat this process all the way down to the base of the neck.
3) Here’s the tricky (but cool!) part: Starting at the base I created a split fishtail by taking a small section from the left, splitting in to two pieces, and pulling one piece over the top to the right and the other piece under to the right. Then repeat on the left side, taking a small section splitting it in to two with one piece going over to the left and the other going under to the left.
4) To finish and add extra texture, I pulled the pieces of the fishtail out and sprayed.”
