Nicole Miller Runway — Sleek & Sexy Ponytails
The sleek and sexy ponytails were created by Edward Tricomi of the Warren-Tricomi salon.
The inspiration was “Street style meets high fashion.” Edward told us backstage, the look is “quick and easy, like the girls did it themselves. No products were used and we did whatever hair part fit each girl.”
Get the look:
“Blow dry hair straight.
Slick hair back into a tight pony tail and secure with a simple elastic at nape.
If needed, use a serum to pat down any flyaways for a sleek, polished look.”
The smokey eye look was created by James Kaliardos using MAC products.
He told me backstage the look is for a “smokey Chelsea girl,” who lives in Manhattan. It’s a new take on the smokey eye because it’s brown, not black.
Dark, Jewel-Toned Nails At Nicole Miller
butter LONDON Global Colour Ambassador Katie Jane Hughes created a look that was inspired by a mythical forest. The mysterious and chic nail look can be copied by following the steps below:
“Apply one coat of butter LONDON Patent Gel Base Coat.
Apply one coat of butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Union Jack Black, a patent leather-like jet black shade, to add depth and richness to the shade going over it.
Apply one coat of butter LONDON British Nail Lacquer in Racing Green, a dark, hunter green nail lacquer.
Apply one coat of butter LONDON Patent Gel Top Coat to add high shine to the nail.”
