Inspired by the Congo jungle, the designer took us on a fierce, fashionable safari that was infused with jungle prints and pretty silhouettes — and we can’t wait to see his exotic, chic collection debut on the red carpet.
Christian Siriano‘s woman is confident and knows how to steal the spotlight. His Fall 2015 collection, which debuted during New York Fashion Week on Feb. 24, spoke to his go-to gal — and it was a true testament to his talent as a designer. From embroidered gowns to bold prints and feminine silhouettes, Christian welcomed us to the jungle in an alluring way. There definitely wasn’t a shortage of animal prints, as we saw zebra prints on dresses, panther prints on tunics, tiger frocks and leopard gowns make their way down the runway.
Christian Siriano’s Fall 2015 Collection — PICS:
His vibrant take on Fall 2015 stayed true to the feminine silhouettes that Christian is known for, as we saw longer tunics layered over pants, criss-cross crop tops paired with matching, a-line skirts and belted, strapless gowns made their way down the runway, which was infused with flowing sheer, velvet and taffeta. The celeb set that turned out to take in the show was just as fierce as his runway, with Zendaya, Jennette McCurdy, Juliette Lewis and Kesha sitting pretty in the front row.
Zendaya couldn’t get enough of the tunics paired with pants — in fact, we spied her snapping images of the looks from the front row! Giving the edgy, menswear-inspired yet feminine feel of the pairing, we could totally see her rocking the juxtaposed looks on the red carpet with ease. Crop tops with matching a-line skirts in bold prints seemed so totally Taylor Swift — and we could also see Siriano fan Sarah Hyland gravitating towards the looks.
Christian welcomed us to the wild side, and we are totally into it. Are you?
