The evening got started exactly the way it should: Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake serenading us, obviously.
And that was just the beginning!
We start things off with fan-favorite sketch: Celebrity Jeopardy hosted, of course, by Alex Trebeck AKA Will Ferrell. Thee obvious highlight of this sketch is always the celeb impersonations, and they did not disappoint. Case in point: Kate McKinnon‘s infamous Justin Bieber.
SNL couldn’t bring back Kristen Wiig and Fred Armisen without doing a Californians sketch. It would’ve been amazing regardless, but making a special so-cal appearance was none other than Taylor Swift. Also swinging by (via the Pacific Coast Highway we can assume): Bradley Cooper and Betty White— and the two totally made out !
No major show would be complete without an appearance by the queen herself: Beyonce. Well that Queen Bey might have had prior engagements (rude) so Maya Rudolph donned her most voluminous weave and bodysuit and did the diva justice.
Jerry Seinfeld also had an all star bit in which he took questions from audience members including Dakota Johnson, Sarah Palin and his Seinfeld coworker Larry David.
Also, in what may have been the night’s best moment: A Wayne’s World reunion! Party on!
What did you guys think of the special? What were your favorite moments? Tell us!
