Lena Headey Pregnant: ‘Game Of Thrones’ Star Expecting Second Child
Cersei is going to have to hide a baby bump on the next season of Game of Thrones because Lena is pregnant, People confirms.
“I’m happy to confirm that I’m having my second child this summer,” Lena told the outlet in a statement. “I only hope that this announcement can help me to regain some of the privacy I have recently lost to prying photographers and ask that they please respect my privacy and let me enjoy this time.”
What a happy time for Lena!
Lena’s son, Wylie, turns 5 in March. She divorced from her husband, Peter Loughran, in 2013.
We’ll likely see Lena’s baby bump on the red carpet when she begins promoting the new season of Game of Thrones. This is going to be a big year for Cersei. Not only will she be reeling from the loss of Joffrey (Jack Gleeson), but her father as well.
As everyone knows, Cersei’s brother Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) killed their father in the season four finale. And then’s Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), but let’s not get into that. Lena earned an Emmy nomination for her amazing performance in season four.
We are so happy for Lena and her family! We wish her all the best in her pregnancy.
Game of Thrones season five premieres April 12 on HBO.
