The two gorgeous gals dish to the mag about their careers, love life, and, of course, their strong friendship as they set out on an epic road trip. What do you guys think of the new cover?
Taylor Swift &; Karlie Kloss — ‘VOGUE’ March 2015 Cover:
Tay had a ton to say about her BFF in an interview with the mag. For starters, Karlie was one of Taylor’s very first friends when she moved to NYC from Nashville. The girls also dished about how their styles are totally similar. “The other night I came over, and we were both going someplace from here, and we were both wearing black crop tops and high-waisted skirts. It’s kind of getting weird,” said Kloss.
Tay chimed in saying, “Black tights, hair done the same way, just like, ‘Ugh, be more annoying.’ We couldn’t possibly be.” We don’t think they are annoying at all — we love them! It seems as though their friendship was fate. “People had been telling us for years we needed to meet,” said Taylor. “I remember makeup artists and hair people going, ‘Doesn’t she remind you of Karlie? God, she and Karlie would be best friends. They’re the same. Karlie’s such a good girl. She brings us cookies every time we do a shoot.’” How cute is that!?
Taylor Swift & Karlie Kloss’ Stylish Friendship:
Even mutual Friend and Victoria’s Secret model, Lily Aldrige, played a role in getting them together — she introduced Kloss to Swift, and Tay said when they met, “We were just like, ‘You. My friend. Now.”
As if it couldn’t get better, Karlie gushed about Tay, “I’ve met a lot of really great girls through Taylor. She’s incredible at connecting people who might not normally meet. We’re all in different jobs, but we’ve become strong friends who are there for each other—a sisterhood of girls, a support team. But we’re also just normal 20-something girls, and I think you have to have people that you can be that with. You know, real friends are hard to find—and Taylor’s a real friend. There’s nothing better.”
Hearing more about their close knit friendship makes us wish we could be a part of their amazing friendship — and not only do they share a special bond, but they look fabulous flaunting it in the magazine’s March issue!
How much do you love these BFFs?
