Hey, remember the little girl from Missy Elliot’s videos? Her name is Alyson Stoner, and she just filmed a super fun tribute to the rapper that recreates their old choreography. Click inside to WATCH!
Alyson Stoner, 21, was the one and only thing missing from Missy Elliott‘s Super Bowl Halftime show cameo with Katy Perry. Now, the young dancer is letting everyone know that she’s still around — and that she’s still got some killer moves.
Alyson Stoner’s Dance Tribute To Missy Elliott
Okay, this is probably the coolest thing going viral on the internet right now.
The little girl who stole the show in Missy Elliott’s music videos over a decade ago just recreated their choreography in a tribute music video on YouTube.
In the video, which you can watch above, Alyson jumps in and joins a group of dancers as they perform the very same choreography from the music videos she once appeared in.
Making this video even cooler is the fact that Alyson reunited with some of the very same dancers that appeared alongside her in the videos!
Missy responded to the video by tweeting it out to her followers by writing, “@AlysonOnTour was the lil girl in my ‘work it’ Gossipfolks video they grown up! MissyElliott Tribute.”
She was even excited to see that Alyson had gotten the crew back together for the tribute video!
“Awwww this is so sweet to see!!! Such great memories!! Very proud of u,” Missy wrote to Alyson. Awesome!
Alyson is 21 now, but she was barely 10 years old when she appeared in Missy’s “Work It,” “Gossip Folks”, and “I’m Really Hot.”
Not many people know this, but Alyson later appeared in the film Cheaper By The Dozen, Step Up, and Camp Rock. Now, she’s a recording artist who will be releasing a new single very, very soon according to her tribute video.
So now the question is, when will Missy and Alyson hit the dance floor together again? Maybe her next music video? Fingers crossed!
