For the first time since stepping out with a drastically different look, Uma Thurman has finally decided to address what she calls a ‘make up’ issue.
Uma Thurman, 44, took a moment to finally respond to the uproar her unrecognizable face caused while she was promoting her upcoming mini-series, The Slap. The longtime address not only opened up about her bizarre look, but even joked about it while talking to Savannah Guthrie on the Today Show.
Uma Thurman Responds To Her Unrecognizable Face
The best way to shrug off negative attention? Joke about it!
“I know I look weird,” Uma teased as Savannah brought up her shocking red carpet look on Monday night, Feb. 9, when she walked the red carpet at The Slap premiere in New York City.
But when asked to explain how she felt about the uproar her look caused, Uma shared, “Um, I don’t know, I guess nobody liked my make up.”
The actress laughed after making the statement, making it clear she was joking yet again. Good for you, Uma!
Uma Doesn’t Let Comments Affect Her
It was easy for Uma to laugh off all of the attention her unrecognizable face got her earlier in the week, but she later took a more serious tone.
“I’ve been doing this for years and years and years,” Uma explained. “And people say things nice and they say things mean and it’s just like, whatever!”
After all of this time in the spotlight, Uma has definitely figured out how to let things just roll off of her back without affecting her work.
“You take the good with the bad,” she said.
