Does Diddy need to watch his back? Rap-A-Lot records CEO — and mentor to Drake — J. Prince, slung some pretty serious threats the rapper’s way on a new recording — promising retaliation for his altercation with Drizzy.
Rap-A-Lot Records CEO J. Prince recently recorded a warning track aimed directly at Diddy, 49, threatening to come after his family in retaliation for his Dec. 7 smackdown outside a Miami nightclub with rapper Drake, 28. Could the disgruntled CEO soon be going after Diddy — or his loved ones?
Drake & Diddy Fight: J. Prince Threatens Puffy’s Family On Diss Record
Apparently, J., who first discovered Drake and introduced him to Lil Wayne, has been seething ever since the night Diddy sucker-punched the unsuspecting rapper outside LIV in Miami.
Though the recording, which TMZ acquired, is more of a rant than a song, the message is crystal clear — stay away from Drake or else!
J. stressed in his message that he considers Drake to be family, and doesn’t take attacks made on his family members very lightly.
“First of all, Puffy putting his hands on my family, opened the doors for his family to be touched. You reap what you sow,” he said in the threatening recording.
He also had some pretty choice words for Birdman (with whom he’s had a lengthy legal battle) and Suge Knight, who made some anti-Drake comments a few months back. He’s getting a lot off his chest in this one!
“If any of your clowns cross me or my family, bad news is going to beat you home. I’m done talking,” he said in conclusion.
Those sound like some pretty serious threats! Should Diddy be afraid for himself and his family?
Drake: Hospitalized After Diddy Nightclub Brawl
It will be very interesting to see what Diddy’s response will be.
The hip-hop mogul doesn’t exactly back down in violent situations. He was definitely the aggressor in his Dec. 7 altercation with Drake. In fact, the mogul hit the rapper so hard, he had to be hospitalized!
“Diddy left LIV on his own and made a beeline towards the car, like he was a man on a mission. Drake got out of his SUV, and there was a scuffle before it seemed that Drake had hurt himself, he was holding his shoulder like it was dislocated,” an eyewitness told Page Six. “He was in obvious pain. Diddy was heard shouting something to the effect of, ‘Handle your business!’”
