The FBI is back on March 2, and even though Joe Carroll is behind bars (in maximum security), we know that these three aren’t completely safe. Here’s a look at Ryan Hardy, Agent Mike Weston and of course, Max.
Season three of The Following is less than a month away and basically, we’re on the edge our seats. In a brand new promo photo, exclusive to HollywoodLife.com, we see the powerful threesome, Max (Jessica Stroup), her uncle Ryan (Kevin Bacon) and of course, her now-ex, Mike Weston (Shawn Ashmore).
‘The Following’ Season 3 Pic
We cannot wait for this season! During a recent set visit, we chatted with some of the stars of the film and let’s just say, we get why they’re looking so serious!
We saw Mike Weston’s father get murdered last year, and he took a turn for the worst. This season, despite Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) being locked up, Mike is still looking for revenge.
“He’s out for blood,” Shawn told HollywoodLife.com on set. “What’s different, I think, this year is that Mike has learned to compartmentalize those feelings. He’s not the loose cannon that he used to be. That’s in him; it exists and it comes out when the time’s right, but he’s learned to sort of hide, even from Ryan & Max to a certain extent. He’s holding that in. I think it’s interesting because that mimics psychopathic behavior. It’s that interesting balance of him being over the edge & learning to control it.”
Season 3 Will Have ‘More Mystery’
So will he get that revenge, ie., find Mark Grey (Sam Underwood), the man who killed his father? Is he the one planning the new slew of murders that are happening in season three, with Joe in jail? Of course, he couldn’t say that but he did say this season, expect “more mystery”
“In other seasons we know its Joe’s followers. This time, it’s a mystery of who is doing it and why? We can never force it — it’s a fun thrill ride. More mystery and a little more interesting,” he told us. “There’s a master plan in place that we don’t see right way.”
Well, we cannot wait for The Following season three, premiering on Fox on March 2!
