Such an incredible win in an intense category! Eddie walked away with the Best Actor award for his incredible work in the critically acclaimed film, The Theory of Everything.
This is not Eddie’s first win for the role. He took home the same award at the Golden Globes and won Outstanding Actor at the Screen Actors Guild Awards — he is also nominated at the Academy Awards.
Wearing a classic black tux, Eddie looked amazing and the picture of a classic movie star — definitely a great look on him!
Other nominees included, Benedict Cumberbatch (The Imitation Game), Jake Gyllenhaal (Nightcrawler), Michael Keaton (Birdman) and Ralph Fiennes (The Grand Budapest Hotel)

While this has been a huge year for Eddie in the film industry, as HollywoodLife.com previously reported, he tied the knot to his longtime love, Hannah Bagshawe in December 2014.
“He had been planning on it for a while,” an insider told Us Weekly. “They have a very relaxed and supportive relationship… they seemed to have always known they were going to spend the rest of their lives together.”
